and walking routes criss-crossing this outstanding countryside.
Millfield has the UK Cycling Route 1 running past the door.
There
is fishing, shooting, rugby, racing at Kelso ("the friendly
racecourse"), the famous Border Union Agricultural Show,
and equally famous annual Ram Sale, all occurring at different
times of the year. Throughout the year, winter and summer
alike you will always find plenty to see and to do.
